Jennifer Ewing, Associate AIA

Jennifer Ewing is an architect intern at Barbee Architects, Inc. She graduated from the University of Texas in the School of Architecture with a Bachelors Degree in May 2006. Jennifer is currently earning intern credits as she works toward her architecture license.

For the summer of 2005, Jennifer began working for Hobson Crow Architects, Inc. as a professional residency student through the University of Texas at Austin. Under Hobson Crow, Jennifer worked on several new residential projects throughout Texas, as well as renovations to a historic home in Austin.

In September 2005, Jennifer continued the professional residency program at the University working for Barbee Architects. During her residency she worked in close concert with Eugene George and William Barbee in completing documents for “Naranjal,” a harmonically proportionate residence begun by Eugene George as a construction project for his architectural engineering students in the 1980s.

Since graduating in May, Jennifer has continued working for BAI as an architect intern as she gains intern credits toward licensure. Her recent involvement with Barbee Architects, Inc, includes a variety of project types. She is currently working on several residences in the Austin area. Current commercial projects include a two-story office building with a parking level below in Lakeway, Texas, as well as the interior finish out for Keller Williams Realty and Gracy Title.
